Tapped by the Kamehameha Schools Commercial Development Division (K.S.), Voyager principals worked in conjunction with the architectural firm, Pompei AD, to create the placemaking and programming, marketing blueprint, leasing materials, website, and leasing studio for Our Kaka’ako. Located within SALT, the retail and restaurant core for the community. The unique, artful messaging and programming Voyager created brought together a diverse community of local artists, entrepreneurs, and residents, who had initially been skeptical of this new development. Voyager achieved this through deep immersion in the community, creating incubation spaces, one-of-a-kind events, unifying diverse groups who would then call SALT home.
Our efforts enabled K.S.’s leasing team to begin signing sustainable tenants, making SALT at Our Kaka’ako an artistic entrepreneurial hub for this urban island community.
